To promote, coordinate and protect the profession of its members
To develop, maintain and enforce a Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct for its members.
To advance the science and practice of health and safety to its members
To encourage research and develop evidence-based health and safety procedures and practices
To provide a network for practitioners of health and safety for both at national and regional level.
To collaborate and cooperate with regulatory authorities and other stakeholders to promote observance of Occupational health and safety practices that meet national and international standards
To facilitate exchange of specialized information and discussion of matters of common interest among its members and stakeholders.
To do such other things that will enhance the above aims and objectives and the development of other related areas.
